What is happening in BirdGlider world?
To make the first flights of the BirdGlider, i need a place where i can be towed a few hundred meters behind a car. A training hill to roll off and a way to get airborne for a higher flight. I plan to visit such a place with prototype #01 and stay there for a week in a hotel or bed and breakfast. Who can help me to find such a perfect testing area? I WAS OFFERED A SOLUTION HERE. BUT CANNOT TELL MORE.
Sadly it will not be possible to be at Airventure this year. The prototype will not be ready in time. The builder had some problems that delayed the build up and the transport of the parts, which i dismounted from prototype 01 for this assembly arrived toooo late. Nor Aldo, nor me were to blame for both problems. I will be at Airventure as a visitor. I guess you will recognize me with my black T-shirt with BirdGlider logo on the back and Nest of Dragons logo at the front. Feel free to ask me questions. Any way ...the USA adventure still goes on. BirdGlider will miss Airventure, but ...there is something else being prepared which will not pass by unnoticed. :)
With this 3D file, you can see ALL parts of the BirdGlider. Really. Even the rivets are all in this 3D. This way you can see what needs to happen if you are stuck during the construction.
